Newsweek’s Environmental Ranking of America’s 500 Largest Corporations 2009

Are you wondering if you are working for a Green company? You get all the literature about how to save energy, recycle paper, reduce waste, but how did your company rank? For the first time Newsweek published thier Exclusive Environmental Ranking of America’s 500 Largest Corporations. We decided to publish the top 20. You can see the full list at Newsweek. Now if you don’t see your company, it does not mean it is not green, but did not meet the criteria.

One additional item to point out is that this is only for the largest corporation and not small and medium size businesses. At the end of the day you still have to do your part in supporting environmental issues and green initiatives within your company. When was the last time you used less power at your office, desk, cubicle, or workspace. If every worker made an effort at least one time per week, we could make an impact on the world.
